Holiday Hobbies

Does everyone end up re-living their youth as they get older? I'm not sure if that is the motivation, but I've spent an inordinate amount of time lately with my HO scale slot car track. My brother and I spent hours and hours with these things as kids, and the interest has come back with a vengeance. Here's a little video of Castello Raceway, the new track I just finished.

Thankful

Back after a long break for an update. Nothing new in the studio building world since my return in mid-June from the Potluck Conference, which was again a great experience, but my interior trim carpentry work in Denver has been busy all thru this unsettled economic time we're in.

One local highlight was spending a day with my pal Wes Lachot at Brad Smalling's beautiful little Evergroove Studio in Evergreen to celebrate their 2nd anniversary a couple of months back. I'll put a link here for Evergroove, so you can see a bit of my (and a lot of Brad and Jenny's) handiwork.

Potluck Audio Conference

I'll be leaving shortly to attend the 2008 Potluck Audio Conference in New Orleans, LA June 6-8. I'll be sitting on the "Controlling Your Control Room" panel, Saturday at 3PM.
